Skipper Virat Kohli Ruled Out of Remaining Test Due to Shoulder Injury

Indian Team Skipper Virat Kohli has ruled out of the remaining of the 3rd Test against Australia in Ranchi due to his right shoulder injured while serving for his nation on the field on day 1 of the 3rd test. The Australian side were very happy with the fact that Virat kohli won’t able to bat in 3rd Test in any of the innings. Team India has to defend without their Number 1 batsmen and skipper virat kohli in both the Innings.

During Ravindra Jadeja Bowling today while Steve smith and his partner Peter Handscomb were on the field, Jadeja deliver the ball on the middle and leg to Handscomb and he drive towards mid-wicket boundary. Virat kohli run towards ball to stop and saved it inches ahead of the boundary line, But while diving on the ground his right shoulder gets injured and leave everyone in shock that he will be not a part in remaining 3rd Test between India and Australia. He left the field with physio to recover quickly and join team India.

The MRI scan of his right shoulder says that a teat which is likely to rule him out of the Final test in Dharamsala as well. On the other side, Australia finishes their first day play very well with good score of 299/4 (90.0). The No.1 test batsman and Australian skipper Steve Smith smashed his 19th test century and finishes his 5000 test runs as well and built good partnership for 5th wicket with Glenn Maxwell.

Steve Smith remained unbeaten on 117, while Maxwell smashed his maiden Test fifty on first day and remain unbeaten on 82 and looks well set for Day 2 play to take his game further. On bowling side Umesh Yadav took 2 wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin took one wicket each on day 1 test.

In the absence of Skipper Virat kohli, Ajinkya Rahane Likely to lead the 3rd Test.
